Although I buy nearly everything online these days, this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a product review. But I received my Chilipad yesterday, and got the best night's sleep I have had in 10 years. Everything about the product seems to be exceeding my expectations, and I am particularly impressed by:

1) Quality Construction: You immediately understand upon opening the unit why it is a little expensive. Because A LOT of dollars have clearly been spent creating a product that will stand the test of time. Doesn't hurt that it comes with a 3 year warranty, which is basically unheard of for this kind of product.

2) Unit Efficiency: The temperature changes very quickly so if you find that you have chosen a temp too high or low you can tweak it very easily.

We have the hottest bedroom in the house, and a foam mattress that seems to retain body heat. Even with the ac turned way down, I was waking up several times each night feeling like I was burning up. Since the Chili Pad arrived, I've been sleeping much better, with no "flashes" during the night. I am very pleased.
